• ONLY use the night fury design within the first how to train your dragon film OR the tv shows (riders/defenders of berk, race to the edge) as reference guides


• Primarily wears yellow accessories to match with his eyes and to pop out with his blue body color. Also fine with other colors. Especially red, white, black or gray


• His red pointy cheeks on the face store electricity to use as a breath attack


• When not using blast or anything of that sort he'll use his wings and tail to smack his enemies around. Using the wind carried from his wings he can knock back opponents


• His existence is confusing, being a mix of a dragon with two water pokémon, it's unknown how he was brought into this world. He doesn't seem to care or think about it though!


• Despite being a NIGHT fury he has a fear of the dark and feels uneasy during the night. Which is unfortunate for him since his natural sleeping cycle as a night fury causes him to randomly wake up during the night or feel active when he wants to be asleep

Something about me is that whenever I’d consider having a sona I always had night fury in the back of my mind throughout the years, but I didn’t feel worthy enough to be one since the franchise described them as so powerful, rare and all. Despite the fact I knew in my mind I heavily identified as the species, my dreams and visions often have me as a night fury for some examples of what I’m talking about.

WHAT CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT THOSE (ADMITTEDLY RIDICULOUS) THOUGHTS ENOUGH TO COMMIT TO A FURY?

A big key element is that I learnt self love / respect even though in my personal opinion we night furies can be a bit heavily over hyped whenever described by humans.
A more specific thing that gave me the push was that for fun and to cheer myself up when I was going through tough life events I decided to rewatch those “how to make a fursona” videos and overall rewatch some old furry videos I liked in the past. Some of the stuff mentioned in those videos really clicked with me, such as “Maybe go with a species related to what got you into the furry fandom” Which for me was how to train your dragon. (Yes I know its not furry, but it was always a key part of my self expression when representing myself as a nonhuman) And overall those videos said some things that really hinted in my head towards night fury.
You may also notice they're part pokemon! (Kyogre & Swampert) Probably one of the biggest fandoms I'm in that has helped me meet and bond with a lot of people easier and have the most merch of due to it being easy to find I thought it'd be nice way to represent that while also explaining the unusual coloring choices. Which the color choices should be self explanatory if you looked at my site at all! Always identified with blue, red and yellow colors. Lightning bolts have also been something that has been associated with so I added those markings to the face.

This is my primary sona, but I do have others and alternate forms for Hero typically him in specific franchises or different species the most iconic alternate form being his Skylanders one which I might code a whole separate profile for in the future

I understand that and get how it's a bit odd. Mostly just meant as a reflection to my actual self being vegetarian. Not too strict about it when it comes to art where he could be drawn with fish

Hero got corrupted by Strykore with his magic leaving behind a dragon who's the complete opposite of his former self.
